Cape Charles House is  just blocks from the beach, public and private marinas, restaurants, galleries, and Mason Avenue,  the main street,  and sits on one of the highest points of land in the historic district. .

The Colonial Revival, 1912 house, is considered one of the largest, more opulent in town with wide wraparound front porch and a grand foyer with majestic Corinthian columns framing the grand staircase. The formal and second parlors feature handsome and unusual maple-planked floors.

Modern conveniences and decor include climate control and in-room private baths and sitting areas. Selected fabrics and furnishings breathe new life into the sunny, many-windowed rooms. High ceilings and original moldings and doors help maintain the integrity, warmth and beauty of the house. Each large room portrays a distinct personality of character and charm, filled with antiques, unusual collections and attic treasures. You may enjoy a meander through the extensively landscaped grounds, which feature herb and perennial flower beds.
